Automation and controls integration for whatever you make.

A new machine for an OEM, a packaging line with six vendors’ equipment that needs one PLC and one screen, a process skid, a brewhouse, a robot cell, a thirty-year-old CNC. We design the controls, build the UL 508A panels, write the PLC, HMI and drive software, fabricate what is missing and commission it as one system, from one team in Winston-Salem.

Where most automation projects start, and the rest.

Robotics, material handling, retrofits and brewhouse controls are the doors people usually come in through. Custom machines, packaging lines, process skids and CNC are the rest, and they all come out of the same engineering office, UL 508A panel shop and fabrication floor in Winston-Salem.

What we automate

If it moves, heats, mixes, cuts or counts, we have probably controlled it.

The pages behind the four doors above go deep on their subjects. This is the rest of the list, the work that comes in as “can you control this?”

OEM machine controls

Complete control systems for machine builders: schematics, UL 508A panels, PLC and HMI software and drive sizing, repeated to your standard across every unit you ship.

Electrical design & panel build →
Production and packaging lines

One PLC, one HMI and one safety system over mixed-vendor equipment: fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors and palletizers talking to each other instead of past each other.

Material handling & conveyance →
Process and batch control

Tanks, reactors, blending, CIP, dosing and utilities on S7-1500 or ControlLogix, with BRAUMAT / SISTAR batch control where recipes and batch records matter.

Brewhouse controls →
Robot cells

Palletizing, machine tending, case packing, welding and assembly on the robot brand that fits, simulated first and delivered with tooling, guarding and controls.

Robotics →
CNC, motion and drives

Siemens Solution Partner for Machine Tool Systems and Drives & Motion: SINUMERIK CNC, SINAMICS and PowerFlex drives, servo axes and enclosed VFD packages from stock.

Numeric control →
Upgrades and retrofits

New controls on the machinery you already own, from a single obsolete PLC to a full CNC re-control, with drawings recovered and cutovers planned around production.

Upgrades & retrofits →
SCADA, HMI and plant data

Ignition Certified: SCADA, historian and dashboards that put the whole plant on one screen, alongside WinCC Unified, Comfort and PanelView HMIs on the machines.

Custom equipment and test stands

Purpose-built machines, fixtures and test stands designed, fabricated and controlled in house when nothing off the shelf does the job.

Mechanical design & fabrication →
Safety and compliance

Risk assessments, safety-rated circuits, guarding and light curtains to NFPA 79 and current machine safety practice, documented and testable.

How we work

Controls first, one team end to end.

Most integrators start from the mechanical and hire out the controls, or start from the panel and hire out the machine. We do both in one building, so the schematic, the panel, the program, the frame and the start-up are owned by people who sit together.

  • System agnostic. Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, FANUC, KUKA and the rest: the platform is chosen for your plant and your maintenance team, not for our comfort.
  • Simulated before shipped. PLCSIM for the program, offline simulation for the robot, factory acceptance testing for the panel.
  • Documented on hand-over. As-built drawings, backups, I/O lists and training, every time.
  • Supported afterwards. Service contracts, on-call support, spares and the training center for your own team.

Who relies on us

What partners say.

They’re more than a panel builder, they’ll run cable, do the programming, the electrical drawings and all of that… It was just a can-do attitude. Nothing was really a problem. Think’s ability to problem solve and troubleshoot on the fly is one of their biggest assets.

For the most part, if it’s a random project out there I’m calling Bobby… I know that if Bobby works on the project, it’s going to be done and it will be done right.

You guys have this insight that a typical panel building shop that’s just building panels and going off of a set of prints, for the most part, they don’t have design capabilities and the product knowledge. But you guys have that and it’s a big strength that we look for in a cabinet shop.
